On Dec 12, I had conducted a conscientization programme among the 9B students in the afternoon. The topic was ' Identity Crisis" and I created an awareness among the students about the crisis they face as part of their age. I had used charts and short film to grab their attention. After the class, I made them to fill a questionniare to know whether they had understood something.

We conducted a skit based on the chapter The Nightingale and the Rose by Oscar Wilde, with selected students of 8B and 8E. all of the students performed well.

As a part of English optionwise activity, we  conducted  a debate based on the topic 'IS ENGLISH LANGUAGE MORE IMPORTANT THAN MOTHER TONGUE'.For that, we had chosen 9.B class.In the third period,the debate competition was held.Boys groups were stood against the topic whereas girls group were stood towards the topic.All of them were participated with great interest.

The 59 th Revenue District Kalotsavam was held on St. John`s Hss, Mattom. We had 8 stages on the school, with the main stage on 21 and 22 October. Various programmes including Bharathanatyam, Thiruvathira, Thabal, Mridangam, Sangha Nritam, Recitation, Elocution etc. were held at various stages. We stood as volunteers as well as stage managers, having the duties of registration, announcement, volunteering, tabulation and evaluation of results etc. on the whole day up to 6 pm.

On Children`s day, we presented a human pyramid with the children in the morning assembly. The children hold placards bearing awareness on child labour and child abuse.

It was decided to start our second phase teaching practice on 1 Nov, 2018. But due to some local holidays, We went to the school on 3 Nov. We, 5, arya, athira and me from the English option and Rakhi and Manju from the Maths option were  assigned to St. John`s Hss, Mattom. Rakhi was assigned as the Leader and Arya as the Deputy Leader. It was really Ecstatic to see my kids again, and them too.
