It was much nervous moment for seniors to attend the practical examinations and we, the juniors had given much assistance to make them relieved as possible. We had tried to help both the seniors as well as our teachers. We had taken all responsibilities with confidence and made it effectively. Every one's active  participation made it a success.

          The New month of the New year also witnessed the school initiatory programme and we, were divided into 3 groups assinged with 3 different schools having leaders to ech group. We, including 14 students were assigned to St. Jhon's Mattam, under the leadership of Navneetha. It was for a week( 15 jan- 19 jan)  and we just enjoyed the experience of being respected by all as teachers. The students were vibrant as well as dynamic but we skillfully manged them. The love and respect from the part of students and friendly approach from the teachers made it an unforgettable experience in our life. We took part in various activities such as  share teaching, distribution of mid day meals and various other responsibilities effectively. It was much a thrilling experience to be a teacher of respectable status.

After two days of the demonstration class, we had our criticism class at MSM HSS, Kayamkulam. The criticism class was initiated by Mohd. Aslam and end up with Jisha. Six among us took the class on various topics and we made criticism points on it. The students were such naughty and the trainees had to take such an effort to manage them.

The New Year got started with demonstration classes of our seniors held at MSM HSS, Kayamkulam. The demonstration was based on models of teachin, including Advance Organiser model by Jhancy and Concept Attainment Model by Sameera. The senior students showed us how to manage such vibrant students.

The whole December filled us with exam tensions and exam fever. The hectic schedule of Model examinations and University Examinations filled the year end. The tension of facing the first semester examination was reduced through the Model examinations.

On 29th Nov, afternoon we celebrated X'mas much before the actual Christmas, due to our hectic exam schedule. Students participated in Crib and Tree making, Christmas card, Christmas song and dance as competitions held group wise.The students wore white pyjamas with white shawl to evoke the sense of Christmas. Mohd. Aslam enacted as the Christmas father and the carol song sung together, exchanging gifts for Christmas friends and cake distribution colored the moments.

It gives me immense pleasure as the Association Secretary of English Option (Lyceum de Muse) of Jbmcte (2017-18) to make the publication of our magazine, Scintilla on the day of Union Inauguration itself by Harsha Viswanath, Asst. Prof., English Dept., Msm College.' Scintilla' is a rich culmination of the literary works by English option students.

The new Union of JBMCTE (2017-18) was inaugurated on 29 Nov 2017, at 10 am by Dr.S.Amina, Principal, MSM College, Kayamkulam. Together with it, the Arts Club and Women's cell was inaugurated by Ms. Harsha Viswanath, Asst. Prof. , English Dept., Msm College. The Union Chairman, Mohd. Aslam chaired the function, whereas the Union Advisor Vineetha teacher delivered the welcome speech and myself, General Secretary delivered the Vote of Thanks.
